On the morning of September 26th, the unveiling ceremony for the “New Generation Information Technology Experimental and Training Center,” a joint initiative between Kaifeng Vocational College (KFVC) and Beijing Huasheng Jingshi Information Technology Co., Ltd., was held with great fanfare in the Academic Lecture Hall of Bi Sheng Building. In attendance were Zhang Yong, Chairman of Beijing Huasheng Jingshi Information Technology Co., Ltd., Executive Vice President Liang Shu, General Manager of the Operations Division Wang Hui, as well as KFVC President Xu Zhongkun, CPC Secretary of KFVC Chu Jianxin, Executive Vice President Liu Shanshan, and Vice President Zhang Difei, together with other key figures from both institutions. The event also featured representatives from relevant departments, along with faculty and students from the School of Information Engineering. The unveiling ceremony was presided over by Executive Vice President Liu Shanshan.
At the unveiling ceremony, President Xu Zhongkun spoke first, emphasizing that integrating industry with education is key to enhancing vocational and higher education and fostering innovative and skilled talents, a vital part of our educational reform strategy. Kaifeng Vocational College, guided by the principle of “moral and technical excellence through industry-education integration,” has been advancing multi-faceted school-enterprise collaborations. President Xu looks forward to the joint construction of the “New Generation Information Technology Experimental and Training Center” as a springboard for deeper cooperation, creating new models and experiences in collaborative education, and opening a new chapter in the school’s talent development and pursuit of excellence.
Subsequently, Zhang Yong, Chairman of Beijing Huasheng Jingshi Information Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech. He stated that with the establishment of the “New Generation Information Technology Experimental and Training Center,” both the school and the enterprise will further renovate cooperation concepts, expand cooperation dimensions, deepen cooperation connotations, and elevate cooperation standards. Leveraging Huasheng Jingshi’s advantages in industrial ecology, research and development capabilities, and educational services, we will work together with Kaifeng Vocational College to establish the “New Generation Information Technology Experimental and Training Center” as a high-quality and exemplary training center brand in Henan Province and even nationwide, contributing to the cultivation of innovative talents in the new generation information technology industry and regional economic development.
Next, on behalf of both the school and enterprise teams, Mr. Wang Hui, General Manager of the Operations Division at Beijing Huasheng Jingshi Information Technology Co., Ltd., provided a detailed overview of the preliminary establishment and future operational plans for the “New Generation Information Technology Experimental and Training Center.” Jin Qiuying, a student from the Class of 2023 in the Big Data Technology program at the School of Information Engineering, also delivered a speech.
Finally, amidst the warm applause from the faculty and students present, the leaders from both the enterprise and the school, Zhang Yong, Liang Shu, Wang Hui, Xu Zhongkun, Chu Jianxin, and Liu Shanshan, jointly unveiled the “New Generation Information Technology Experimental and Training Center.”
Following the ceremony, the attending leaders toured the construction and operations of the Center. This center, a collaborative effort between our school and Beijing Huasheng Jingshi Information Technology Co., Ltd., is designed to empower education through digital technology. It encompasses cutting-edge technologies such as mobile internet, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, fully integrating industry with education for experimental training and research innovation. Looking ahead, it will play a pivotal role in enhancing the school’s professional development, advancing educational reforms, creating exemplary industry-education integration projects, and serving the regional economic and social development. It is poised to become a cradle for training highly skilled talents in new-generation information technology.
