On the afternoon of October 28, a delegation from Magnitogorsk State Technical University of Russia - including Vice President Ruban Konstantin Alekseevich, and Vice President Nikulina Tatyana Leonidovna, along with Head of International Department Gorovy Stanislav Igorevich-visited our college, accompanied by Mr. Li Dianguang, Director of the Henan Modern Culture Development Center and other guests. The delegation took part in an exchange symposium held in the conference room. Liu Shanshan, the Executive President of KFVC, together with relevant department heads, participated in the discussions. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Qingfang, Director of the International Exchange Center.

Ruban Konstantin Alekseevich expressed gratitude for the hospitality before elaborating on his university’s engineering strengths and talent cultivation models. He highlighted the integration of technical education with traditional culture as an emerging educational frontier in higher education and showed interest in fostering cultural exchanges with our college. He also noted challenges faced by Russian engineering institutions in bridging academia and industry, expressing hope to learn from our experience to facilitate future cooperation.
During the exchange session, the two sides held in-depth discussions on academic advancement, student exchanges, short-term programs and language learning. They identified significant collaborative potential in talent development, scientific research, and cultural exchange, and agreed to further deepen their partnership. Before the symposium, the delegation toured our college’s industry-education facilities, including the Xiaomi Group (Henan) Base, JD. Digital Economy Industry College the New Generation Information Technology Experimental Training Center and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Master Workshops. They gained detailed insights into our practical achievements and experienced traditional cultural projects like Bian embroidery, Zhuxianzhen woodblock New Year paintings, and Northern Song Dynasty official porcelain. The visitors praised our college’s innovative approaches to preserving and integrating cultural heritage.
This visit has deepened mutual understanding and friendship while opening a new chapter of collaborative innovation for our two institutions. Our college will build on this exchange to expand our global educational partnerships and contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative, advancing high-quality vocational education worldwide.
