On October 17, 2025, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between ouruniversity and Haier Smart Home Service Platform was held at the Haier Ecological Experience Center in Qingdao. Attendees included Liu Jianjun, Vice President of Haier Smart Home and General Manager of the Global Service Platform; Zhang Chongchao, Head of Human Resources at Haier Service Platform; Wang Bo, Head of Operations at Haier Service Platform; Liu Shaolong, Head of Service Provider Operations at Haier Service Platform; Xu Zhongkun, President of our university; Liu Shanshan, Executive President; and Ma Jigang, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President.

During the meeting, President Xu highly commended Haier for its persistent focus on the real economy, unwavering user-centric approach, commitment to original technology, and promotion of industrial digital transformation. He praised Haier as a flagship of China's national enterprises and expressed sincere gratitude for the ongoing care and support provided by the Haier Smart Home Service Platform to the development of Kaifeng Vocational College. He stated that since its establishment, Kaifeng Vocational College has consistently upheld its founding mission of“building a respected institution,” adhering to industry-education integration and school-enterprise collaboration to cultivate highly skilled professionals with both moral integrity and technical expertise. He expressed firm confidence that, with Haier's tradition of nurturing and empowering individuals through service and the college's commitment to sincerely supporting student growth, both parties would seize this signing as an opportunity to further deepen the sharing and integration of talent, technology, and resources. In the presence of all attendees, President Xu andGeneral ManagerLiu signed a strategic cooperation agreement between the two parties and jointly unveiled the plaque for the“Kaifeng Vocational College Internship and Training Base.” According to the agreement, both parties will jointly invest in establishing the“Haier Smart Home Industry-Education Integration Base” at Kaifeng Vocational College. This initiative will provide coordinated order-based training and customized instruction for both enrolled students and members of the public, aiming to cultivate Haier service engineers with strong capabilities and awareness.

Prior to the meeting,President Xu and his delegation toured the Haier Kaoas Ecosystem Exhibition and the Haier Culture Exhibition. They examined Haier's efforts in advancing industrial digital transformation and gained insights into the company's entrepreneurial history and achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship.
General Managers of Haier's refrigeration, washing, air conditioning, kitchen appliances, audio-visual, and water network industries, along with the head of our university's industry-academia cooperation center, attended the aforementioned meeting and related activities.
