On November 18, the Fall Campus Job Fair for the Class of 2026 concluded successfully at Tiehong Gymnasium. The event attracted over 200 participating companies, offering a total of 17,980 positions. These opportunities spanned various sectors including state-owned enterprises, central government-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and public institutions, covering high-demand industries such as advanced equipment manufacturing, information technology, finance and commerce, and cultural media—all highly aligned with students' academic specializations. University Chairman Zheng Tiejun, President Xu Zhongkun, Party Secretary Chu Jianxin, and other university leaders, along with heads of the Career Guidance Center and secondary colleges, visited the event to provide guidance and engaged in in-depth discussions with both companies and students.

The event venue was bustling with people and filled with an enthusiastic atmosphere. Students, holding their carefully prepared resumes, moved between the booths of various organizations, engaging in thorough discussions with employers about job responsibilities, salary packages, recruitment procedures, and requirements. Some non-graduating students also attended the event to gain insights into market demands and corporate preferences, actively preparing for their future career development plans.

“This job fair featured an exceptionally diverse range of companies. I'm truly grateful to the school for creating such an excellent platform. Not only did it provide us with more employment opportunities and help us find precisely the right positions, but it also significantly reduced the time cost of job hunting. I hope my younger classmates will actively participate in club activities during their studies to gain practical experience, making their resumes more substantial so they can confidently seize future employment opportunities,” said Li Shujia from E-Commerce Class 2301.
Yuan Mengping from Class 2302 of Big Data and Accounting (Financial Management) shared: “The job fair was bustling with people. I navigated through the crowd with my prepared resume and engaged in in-depth discussions with several companies in my desired industries. Not only did I gain a clearer understanding of the job requirements, but I also successfully reached a preliminary agreement with a company that aligns with my career goals. It was a truly rewarding experience—definitely worth the trip.”
Wang Zhixiang, Head of the Xiaomi Group (Henan) Industry-Education Integration Base, stated: “For the mobile device engineer positions we plan to recruit this time, we place particular emphasis on young talents' hands-on skills and professional integrity. Academic background is not a strict requirement; what we value most are candidates' learning ability, practical problem-solving skills, and their passion and dedication to technology. We welcome ambitious young professionals eager to deepen their expertise in the smart hardware field to join us.”
In preparation for this job fair, the university provided students with comprehensive guidance spanning the entire process from job search preparation to career development through career planning courses, resume optimization coaching, interview skills training, and policy interpretation lectures. During the event, the smooth operation was ensured through measures such as providing supplies, offering one-on-one volunteer assistance, and serving complimentary lunches.
The university consistently prioritizes graduate employment. In recent years, it has signed cooperative agreements with companies such as JD.com, Xiaomi, and Haier to deepen industry-education integration. Simultaneously, it encourages students to pursue further education, seek employment in grassroots positions, enlist in the military, or develop overseas careers. By continuously expanding employment avenues, the university is fully committed to promoting high-quality and full employment for its graduates.
