On the morning of December 11, the inauguration ceremony of the Kaifeng Vocational College Digital Marketing Research Institute and the signing of school-enterprise cooperation agreements were held in the Bi Sheng Building auditorium. More than 200 participants, including representatives from over 30 enterprises such as Henan Zhenghe Interconnection, Haigou Technology, and Tiantai Salt Industry, as well as industry experts, teachers, and students, attended the event, witnessing a key step in the college’s efforts to deepen industry-education integration and serve the development of the regional digital economy.

At the ceremony, President Xu Zhongkun stated in his speech that the establishment of the institute is a key initiative for the college to align with the development of the digital economy industry and deepen the reform of talent cultivation models. In the future, the institute will focus on building an integrated platform for “industry-academia-research-innovation-investment” and cultivate highly skilled digital marketing talents who are “ready to use, willing to stay, and capable of development” by introducing real enterprise projects and practical scenarios.

Li Xin, Director of the Xiangfu District Industry and Information Technology Bureau in Kaifeng, fully affirmed the college’s positive role in serving local industrial upgrading and stated that the government will continue to support school-enterprise cooperation and the institute’s development. The goal is to jointly create an ecosystem conducive to the growth of the digital economy and promote regional industrial digitization and digital industrialization.

Enterprise representatives Ma Junyu, General Manager of Tiantai Salt Industry, and Zhou Yiyou, Partner of Haigou Technology Group, shared their expectations for school-enterprise cooperation based on their respective fields of practice. They noted that the institute’s philosophy of “cultivating talents as the foundation and serving the industry” aligns closely with corporate needs. In the future, they plan to introduce real projects, co-develop practical courses, and share enterprise resources to achieve a two-way empowerment between “education and industry” and cultivate interdisciplinary talents proficient in both technology and marketing.

Witnessed by all attendees, Executive President Liu Shanshan and Chu Pan, Chairman of Henan Zhenghe Interconnection Technology Co., Ltd., jointly unveiled the plaque for the “Kaifeng Vocational College Digital Marketing Research Institute,” marking the official launch of this collaborative innovation platform.

After the unveiling ceremony, President Xu Zhongkun presented the letter of appointment for the institute director to Chu Pan. To strengthen industry guidance, the institute also appointed several industry elites, including Chen Wei, founder of Houxiu E-commerce; Wang Wei, a CCTV documentary photographer; Pei Yabin, an expert from Hongta Securities; Jia Yan, a self-media professional; and Yang Guangning, a TikTok influencer, as its first batch of specially appointed mentors. Letters of appointment were presented on-site by Director Chu Pan.

In the subsequent work report, Chu Pan systematically outlined the development blueprint for the institute. He pointed out that digital marketing has become a core engine for the transformation and upgrading of industries. Faced with an industrial landscape where short video users exceed 1.03 billion and the live-streaming e-commerce market reaches 4.9 trillion yuan, the demand for interdisciplinary talents in the industry is increasingly urgent. The establishment of the institute aims to precisely meet this industrial need.

He stated that the institute is positioned as an open collaborative platform integrating “industry, academia, research, innovation, and investment.” With the overall goal of creating a new model for school-enterprise cooperation in vocational education in Henan Province and even nationwide, it will focus on four key directions. First, innovating the “research-study integration” talent cultivation model and co-developing “golden courses” with enterprises, such as Live Streaming Operations Practice, A/B Testing in Practice, and TikTok Shop Full Process. Second, building a multifunctional industry-education integration platform integrating digital marketing practice zones, e-commerce live streaming zones, and short video creation zones. Third, developing a “dual-qualified” teaching team, ensuring that enterprise mentors account for over 30%. Fourth, establishing a “1+N” platform-enabled teaching resource system to extend its impact to majors such as visual communication, information engineering, and cultural tourism.

Currently, the institute has established three training bases and innovatively built a “four-wheel drive” operational system comprising a teaching and research center, an industry center, an artificial intelligence center, and a management center. It implements a project management model of “assignment system + credit system + point system,” aiming to achieve a closed-loop cultivation process where “enrollment means employment, classes mean starting work, and graduation means career placement.”

At the end of the ceremony, the institute signed cooperation agreements with seven enterprises, including Tiantai Salt Industry, Laojia Cultural Tourism Technology, Haigou Technology, Yize Cosmetics, Qingma Innovation Technology, and Houxiu E-commerce. The cooperation will cover talent cultivation, course co-development, technological research, project incubation, and other comprehensive aspects.

The establishment of the Kaifeng Vocational College Digital Marketing Research Institute is an important initiative for the college to deepen industry-education integration and serve the development of the regional digital economy. The institute will integrate resources from multiple parties, focus on digital marketing talent cultivation, technological innovation, and industrial services, and strive to build a regional digital marketing education hub, providing talent and intellectual support for the “Digital Henan” initiative.
