On December 16, the campus-level finals of the Third National College Student Career Planning Competition were successfully held in the Bisheng Building Auditorium of ourcollege. With the theme “Building Dreams in Youth, Aiming Far and Wide—Planning to Set Sail, Careers Guiding the Future,” the competition aimed to create a comprehensive classroom for strengthening career education, a platform for connecting talent supply and demand, and a dynamic market serving graduate employment, thereby laying a solid foundation for students’growth,development, and high-quality employment. The judging panel featured distinguished guests including Xu Meng, founder ofLanben E-commerce; Chen Tao, founder of Henan Xuanmiao Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.; Zhu Yapeng, an alumnus and champion of the Alibaba College Student Entrepreneurship Competition at the provincial level in Henan; along with faculty members from the Career Guidance Center. In attendance were Liu Shanshan, Executive President of thecollege, and Ma Jigang, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, as well as heads of relevant departments. Nearly 300 teachers and students observed and learned from the event. The competition was hosted by students Wang Gege and Zhao Zeyao.
The competition officially commenced with an address by Liu Shanshan, Executive President. In her speech, Liu emphasized the critical role of career planning in the growth and development ofstudents. She encouraged students to take this competition as an opportunity to cultivate a sound view of career selection and employment, integrate their personal aspirations with the broader national development, clarify their direction through planning, and realize their value through dedicated effort. Following the address, the host provided a detailed introduction to the competition's scoring criteria, time requirements, and award setup, ensuring a clear understanding of the rules among both the audience and the participants.

At the competition, the contestants closely aligned their presentations with their personal interests and academic strengths, grounded in the realities of their studies. Through thematic statements and on-site defense sessions, they clearly articulated their career planning visions, deeply integrating their personal aspirations with the nation’s development and the great cause of national rejuvenation. Their performance fully demonstrated the youthful vitality, dream-driven spirit, and sense of responsibility exemplified by students of ourcollege.

Following all the contestants' presentations, the judge representative, Ms. Xu Meng, delivered professional comments on the competition. She highly commended the contestants' innovative thinking, sense of national commitment, and practical awareness demonstrated in their career planning. In her view, the entries were not only grounded in the contestants' personal realities but also aligned with industry trends and social needs, achieving both feasibility and foresight. From the perspective of industry demands, she also provided highly targeted guidance on refining career goals and optimizing implementation pathways, offering valuable references for the students’ future career development.

Following a comprehensive evaluation by the judging panel, the competition ultimately selected 2 Gold Award winners, 3 Silver Award winners, 4 Bronze Award winners, and 4 Excellence Award winners. Instructor Zhou Yan from the School of Digital Economy and Instructor Wu Zhendong from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing received the "Excellent Instructor Award," and the School of Digital Economy was honored with the "Outstanding Organization Award."
